They are the models for their own booklet, which is kind of cool.
The patterns are easy and self explanatory. Moreover, there are
detailed pictures and descriptions of the stitches and techniques which you
need.

As only the bigger crochet hook is made of plastic and the smaller one is made of aluminium, I
also bought Comfort Grips for Crochet Hooks. They reduce hand stress, prevent
slipping and it feels much warmer. I cut off the tips of two comfort grips and
slipped them over the thumb rest and handle and left one as it was to slip it
over the back end of the hook.
The hooks are size 5,5mm (US I-9) and 8mm (US L-11), but for the
projects you will also need 4mm (US G-6), 6,5mm (US K-10 ½) and 9mm (US M-13).
I like the DVD. When they talk about their projects it almost feels as if there were some friends in your living room, crocheting, talking,… but it does not show in detail or step by step how to make the patterns which are featured in this booklet. There is an interview and an overview on how to make the Nana Square Sweater/Wrap and the Slouchy Bobble Hat.
Best wishes,
Dietlind
Ps.: I have already made some Geometric Motif Shrugs (which look totally different). They are usually easy to make and very pretty.
