How To Turn Mishaps Into Something Awesome
One of my first projects was a crochet beanie.
I thought that this would be quiet easy.
But...
the first one turned out so tight that it looked strange.
Afterwards, I held two strands of wool together to make it bigger. But it ended up being too loose.
So I used the tigth one to turn the bulkier beanie into a really warm cap by wearing the small one underneath the bigger cap.
Then I started to crochet two caps made of yarn leftovers, but I did not really like how they looked, so I sewed them onto my last try - which was a cap with a brim (which I did not like either).
I also sewed the brim up, so that it looks like a rather normal headband.
Finally, I sewed a flower onto it, which does not really look like a flower.
Now, I can use the big cap alone, or with the smaller one underneath, or even with the headband.
Therefore, it is the warmest cap I own and I really like my series of cap mishaps.
